I wish that was true and I wish I never trusted you!” The tone of the song heavily reflects the melancholy of trust-broken and heart-shattered.

‘Chino’ comes across as a well-produced and very melodic acoustic setup. The spotlight is definitely on Marina’s euphonic vocals. Her voice captures the layers of emotions in-depth and brings about an ethereal feel. To me, it gave a very ‘Miley Cyrus’ vibe. Her last release before ‘Chino’ was ‘Carousal,’ which has been receiving many accolades from the reviewers. Wishing Marina all the very best and looking forward to more of her work.
