Soul Singer-Songwriter Jovanna Embraces 2025 with Self Love in Her Latest Single ‘Aphrodite’

‘Aphrodite’ is an ode to self-love by Jovanna. “It’s hard to save me when influencers sell all my insecurities.” A moving line that bubbles out the dross effects of social media. The term ‘Influencers’ has become an irony. In a world separated by the disbalance of duality, the word ‘influencers’ needs a justification of good or bad. Mostly the audience which is the majority of the unawakened population is left to be the victim and suffer the consequences of what is sold to them. ‘Aphrodite’ by singer-songwriter Jovanna is a plea to the magnificent Greek Goddess to shower us with a sense of appreciation, and bless us, so we find love for every size, shape, or colour and embrace this beautiful body! As she sings, “All body is a good body in every shape and size, it’s time to realise..”

‘Aphrodite’ is a perfect slow-paced song by Jovanna, the rhythm syncs smoothly like the curves of a gorgeous woman’s body. Jovanna’s voice is warm, rich, and versatile, effortlessly weaving through the song with an impressive vocal range. Lyrics, “The harsh reality I see, young girls online, stuck in fantasy”, are inspired by her personal experiences and observations about the pressures of perfection often portrayed on social media. In a video posted on her Facebook page, Jovanna explains that she wrote ‘Aphrodite’ because she has experienced these pressures herself, noting that social media often sells an image of perfection that is not always attainable. The poetry in this song shows how her self-love journey has blossomed from the deep state of vanity & illusion to proclaiming herself as a masterpiece.
