The Chainsmokers Are Coming Back to India With a Huge Three-City Tour This December

Are you ready to reopen those old playlists? Because The Chainsmokers are heading back to India for another massive run of live shows this December!

The American electronic duo, made up of Alex Pall and Drew Taggart, are set to perform across three cities as part of their latest India tour. The tour kicks off in Mumbai on December 18, then shifts to Delhi on December 19, and wraps up in Bengaluru on December 20, 2026.

This marks the duo’s fifth visit to India. This proves just how much emotional connection they have been able to create with their fans here.

Big stages, bigger crowds

Their Mumbai stop will be extra special. Why you ask? This is because The Chainsmokers are also set to headline the 19th edition of Sunburn Festival, which recently announced its debut at Mahalaxmi Racecourse under the theme Awaken The Core.

Meanwhile, Delhi will get its own crossover moment with the duo set to headline the Indian Sneaker Festival, bringing together music and street culture under one roof.

Tickets for the Mumbai and Bengaluru shows are already live on BookMyShow, while registrations for Delhi have opened.

The soundtrack of a generation returns

From festival main stages to late-night playlist staples, The Chainsmokers have shaped the pop and EDM culture over the span of a decade. Tracks like Closer, Something Just Like This and Paris became anthems for millennials and Gen Z listeners alike.

Over the years, the Grammy-winning duo has also collaborated with names including Coldplay, Charli XCX, Halsey, ROZES and BTS. Their latest chapter includes work with Oaks (Winona Oak) on their EP Love Is Kind.

Speaking about the announcement, Sunburn CEO Karan Singh commented, “There are very few artists whose music instantly transports people back to a specific phase of their lives, and The Chainsmokers are absolutely one of them. For Indian millennials and Gen Z, their songs became part of core youth culture moments over the last decade. Our vision is to create large-scale cultural moments where music, fandom, production and community come together in a way that reflects the scale of what young India wants from live entertainment today.”
