Lorde Announces "Ultrasound World Tour"

Lord announces upcoming tour in support of her album ‘Virgin’, to release on 27th June via Universal Music New Zealand and Republic Records!

Lorde has announced an overseas tour in support of her fourth studio album “Virgin”, a follow up to her 2021 release “Solar Power“. The “Ultrasound World Tour” includes stops in North America, Europe and United Kingdom. Names scheduled to join the pop star on selected dates include the Blood Orange, the Japanese House, Nilüfer Yanya, Chanel Beads, Empress Of, Jim-E Stack, and Oklou. The tour starts on 17th September 2025 at Austin, Texas and is expected to conclude on 9th December 2025 at Stockholm, Sweden.

Lorde’s email to fans on the upcoming tour read:

“I am going on tour in support of my new album, Virgin.
Every show I play is a collaboration between you and me. We meet in a room and we make music together, our bodies and the machines in search of something bigger together.”

Lorde talked more about celebrating 12 years of making music for her fans. She continued on how with every work, she is stripping away her unnecessary layers, “finding us more room to move”.

On 24th April 2025, Lorde released “What Was That”, the lead single from her upcoming album. The release was the first original single released as a solo artist in the last four years. Along with the track, Lorde also released a music video where she was dancing at Washington Square Park. Involving elements of synth-pop and electro-pop, the upbeat track is all about nostalgia, past relationships and personal growth.
