Garden Alone is among the most beautiful songs I’ve listened to. I could draw parallels to classics like ‘More Than Words’, or ‘The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face’, or even more recent gems like ‘Falling In Love At A Coffee Shop’. But I’d rather not, as Kristina Angelic-Voiced Wilson has been carving out a sound uniquely her own. Her essence seems to pour straight from her soul, and that in itself is something rare and marvellous. Garden Alone is instantly going into my most intimate playlist of romantic songs, and it’s not just this one, but also a few of Kristina’s other singles.

There are singer-songwriters, pop stars, indie stars, and multi-talented Gen Z artists who create music from their deepest, most intimate life experiences. Yet, only rarely do we find those who seem chosen by their soul songs. Artists who become spiritual vessels with voices that reach into the darkest trenches in people’s hearts. This Aussie songstress is one of them. She possesses that rare quality, the natural gift. She is the kind who stands out in today’s chaotic and competitive crowd.

Garden Alone is the seventh track from Kristina’s upcoming debut album. The song captures the essence of tender love, the kind we all hold onto, quietly simmering with hope in our hearts. Its sound unfolds with a soft, slow acoustic tone that expresses the tenderness, gradually enmeshing in the anguish of heartbreak, before lifting again with a renewed sense of hope in the end. Kristina’s freshman album, ‘Dating Broken Boys’, is all set to be released in a month, and it’s one we’re eagerly awaiting. To stay updated on her latest releases, be sure to follow her on Instagram.
