Tommy Gun Unleashes His Explosive Debut Single “Cyborgs Rise”

West Australian artist Tommy Gun storms into the spotlight with his explosive debut single Cyborgs Rise, set for release on November 14, 2025. Serving as the first glimpse of his upcoming debut EP arriving in early 2026, the track introduces a bold new voice in Australian rock.

Drawing inspiration from dystopian sci-fi classics like The Terminator, Cyborgs Rise delivers a sharp critique of humanity’s growing dependence on technology. Adding even more firepower, Tommy reunites with Clayton Mitchell (a.k.a. Virukasious) from his former band Reaper’s Riddle, rekindling the chemistry that once defined their sound.

Cyborgs Rise rips open like a warning flare in the dark, furious, cinematic, and unrelenting. The lyrics paint a world of war between humans and the machines they built. It is brutal reckoning between creator and creation. The lyrics, “We thought they were the future, now we’re history” are like prophecy, while “Mission, crush, kill, destroy” drills in like a war chant, mechanical and merciless. It’s rebellion carved into metal, a story of extinction told through grit and steel.

The sound matches that chaos blow for blow. Guitars tear through the intro with raw voltage, building a rhythm that grabs you by the collar. The near-shouted vocals bleed urgency, while the robotic refrain drives home the tension between man and machine. Every note feels like marching through fire, each beat a countdown to impact. This isn’t just a song—it’s an uprising in sound.

Finally, with its mix of power, paranoia, and precision, Tommy Gun’s debut marks the arrival of a new force in Australia’s rock scene. One that turns rebellion into rhythm and chaos into sound.
