Riot Fest Drop Lineup for 2024 - Fall Out Boy, Slayer, The Offspring, Rob Zombie and Others

Riot Fest has finally unveiled its lineup for this year after a lot of teasing of social media and a change in venue.

Taking place at Riotland in Bridgeview, Illinois this time and not Chicago’s Douglass Park like before, from September 20th to 22nd, the three day festival lineup is a massive list of rock and metal powerhouses. Headliners include alternative rock band Fall Out Boy, re-united thrashers Slayer and Beck. The line up also includes The Offspring, Public Enemy, Bright Eyes, St. Vincent, Sublime, Rob Zombie, The Marley Brothers, Dr. Dog, Lamb of God, Suicidal Tendencies, GWAR and many more artists.

Venerable punks NOFX will be playing all 3 nights as part of their farewell tour. They will play alongside contemporaries alongside Descendents, Circle Jerks, Buzzcocks, Pennywise, Laura Jane Grace and Lagwagon.

The organizer releases a statement on Riot Fest venue change

The festival organizer “Riot Mike” released a video message stating the reason for this change in venue as well.

“I was tired of Riot Fest continually being the lowest hanging fruit,” the message read. As per Riot Mike he was tired of playing their games. “I was tired of watching something I love being continually used to deflect away from their own internal deficits. This prevented us from giving you the experience you deserve,” the message further reads.

“Riot Fest will be leaving Douglass Park,” the message continues, “And – allow me to be as clear as the azure sky of the deepest summer – our exodus is solely because of the Chicago Park District. Their lack of care for the community, you and us, ultimately left us no choice.”
