Watch: Judas Priest Drop “Crown of Horns” Video – Metal Giants Gear Up for Their 19th LP

Heavy Metal powerhouse Judas Priest have released a new song, “Crown of Horns”. The third single from their forthcoming album , “Invincible Shield,” the song is scheduled for a March 8 release. The album’s lead single “Panic Attack” debuted back in October via Epic records. Followed by “Trial by Fire” in November.

The band has released a 34 second trailer for the album release where we hear the guitarists Glenn Tipton and Richie Faulkner playing a descending riff. The guitar tone starts as synthy and then transforms to their signature metal sound.

“Invincible Shield” will be available on CD, two vinyl editions with different covers, cassette and a bootleg style 7″ vinyl. Target will release an exclusive CD version with 3 bonus tracks.

The band has also put together several bundles with the 3 bonus tracks. This includes a special Invincible Shield t-shirt, hoodie, or vinyl shipmate cover. Digital download and streaming options will also be available.

“Invincible Shield” World tour

Just after the album release, Judas Priest will be performing in Glasgow, UK on March 11. This kicks off their “Invincible Shield” world tour. The USA leg starts on 18th April at Toyota Oakdale Theater, Wallingford, Connecticut and goes on till 22nd May at Empower Federal Credit Union Amphitheater in Syracuse, New York. The run includes a featured performance at “Welcome to Rockville” in May alongside Mötley Crüe, Foo Fighters, Slipknot, Limp Bizkit and others.

The band is also slated to perform at various music festivals across Europe like Sweden Rock Festival, Rock Imperium Festival, Graspop Metal Meeting, and Tons of Rock.

The 19th LP is a follow up to the previous LP “Firepower”, their biggest commercial success. The album charted at no. 5 on the UK Albums Chart and Billboard 200. It hit no. 1 on Billboard’s Top Hard Rock Albums chart.

Judas Priest were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last year after selling over 50 million albums worldwide.
