Music and AI : Diss Track by Drake Features AI Tupac and Snoop Dogg

The beef between the rappers continues as Drake dropped another diss track last Friday, on the 19th of April. Earlier this week, the Canadian rapper had dropped his diss track called “Push Ups” where he mocked Lamar’s features, his shoe size and ultimately his status in rap. Drake calls this one “Taylor Made Freestyle” and it apparently features AI vocals from Tupac Shakur and Snoop Dogg.

Last Friday, late at night, Drake took to social media to express strong criticisms against Kendrick. While “Push Ups”also spoke against Future, Metro Boomin, Rick Ross, and the Weeknd, “Taylor Made Freestyle” is primarily aimed at Kendrick. While Rick Ross and others had also voiced against “Push Ups”, we are yet to see the reactions to this one.

The feud had kicked off with Kendrick dropping his verse on Metro Booming and Future’s “Like That”.

Here’s what Drake and co. have to say to Kendrick

On this track we see AI Shakur has an advice for Kendrick: “Kendrick we need ya, the West Coast savior/Engraving your name in some hip-hop history/If you deal with this viciously … Call him a bitch for me/Talk about him liking young girls as a gift for me,” AI Shakur raps.

Wondering what AI Snoop Dogg’s words were for Kendrick? “World is watching this chess game, but are you out of moves?/Dot, you know that the D-O-G never fucking doubted you/But right now it seem like you posted up without a clue/Or what the fuck you ’bout to do?”

“High up in the sky like I’m Howard Hughes/The first one really only took me an hour or two/The next one is really ’bout to bring out the coward in you,” Drake saves his words for the last verse. Drake also goes on to talk about Taylor Swift next. “But now we gotta wait a fuckin’ week ’cause Taylor Swift is your new Top/And if you ’bout to drop, she gotta approve/This girl really ’bout to make you act like you not in a feud/She tailor-made your schedule with Ant, you out of the loop”, says Drake. The rapper acknowledges Taylor Swift’s big album release: “The Tortured Poets Department“. He seems to be talking of Taylor as Kendrick’s new “boss” controlling his moves. It’s as if Taylor has taken the place of Kendrick’s former label Top Dawg Entertainment, making her the “biggest gangster in the music game right now.”

We are waiting for Kendrick’s answer

Although Kendrick is the prime focus, there are some lines calling out the others.“You tryna let this shit die down?/Nah, nah, nah,” he raps. “What the fuck is taking so long? We waitin’ on you/The rest of y’all are definitely involved, y’all getting it too/Soon as you get the courage to drop, I’m out on the loose.”

The 37-year-old ends the track with a blow: “That shit better be crazy, we waitin’ on you.” Even his caption reads “While we wait on you I guess.” So we got to wait for what Kendrick has to say!
