2016 Video of Assault Discovered : Sean 'Diddy' Combs Exposed Beating Ex

A surveillance footage from 2016 showing Sean “Diddy” Combs repeatedly assaulting his then-girlfriend, the singer Cassie Ventura, has been obtained by CNN. The event apparently took place at the presently closed out InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles on March 5th, 2016.

In the video, we can see Combs chasing Ventura down the hotel corridor. Once he grabs hold of her,he grabs her by the neck and throws her down to the ground. After this he repeatedly starts kicking her, then drags her, and even throws an object at her direction. Ventura had accused him of rape and physical abuse earlier. Events even led to her filing a lawsuit against Combs last year, although the next day they reached an undisclosed settlement. This event at the InterContinental Hotel was specifically mentioned in the lawsuit. Ventura claimed that the surveillance footage captured her as she tried to flee from Combs after he struck her in the face for which she got a black eye. According to Ventura, Combs paid the hotel $50,000 for possesion of the security footage, thus preventing it from public release.

According to Ventura’s attorney, Douglas H. Wigdor, “The gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs. Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light.”

Combs mainitains his innocence amidst other allegations

This year on March, US Department of Homeland Security raided Comb’s homes in Miami and Los Angeles as part of an ongoing federal sex trafficking investigation. Combs has also had multiple lawsuits accusing him of sexual abuse.

Although Combs has been fighting all the while to maintain his innocence. Last year December he took to social media to comment on the incident. “Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday. Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth.” His attorney has referred to the government raids as “gross overuse of military-level force”.
