Funk, hip-hop, jazz fusion group Ghost-Note has announced their third full length record Mustard n’Onions that is set for an April 19th release.
Mustard n’Onions, to be distributed via Mack Avenue Records, will be the group’s first LP in the last six years. This will also be their debut for Artistry Music/Mack Avenue Music Group.
Star-studded lineup for Mustard n’Onions
Led by Snarky Puppy’s multi GRAMMY winning duo of drummer-keyboardist Robert “Sput” Searlight and percussionist Nate Werth, the band welcomes a host of guests to work on the album. This includes the late R&B/jazz hero Bernard Wright who has performed on three tracks – some of his final recorded performances.
Other guests on the album include star saxophonist Karl Denson, Robert Glasper Experiment member Casey Benjamin as well as guitarist-composer Mark Lettieri, and jazz trumpeter Jay Jennings, both Snarky Puppy standouts. Blues-rock God Eric Gales and electric bass GOAT Marcus Miller have also contributed to the album.
