Prog-Rock Guitarist Plini Announces SE Asia + Four-Cities India Tour

Australian progressive rock guitarist-songwriter Plini just announced an Asia + India Tour after 4 long years. Asia stops include Singapore and Bangkok in the southeast, Taipei in the east and Fuji Rock in Japan.

The India leg includesDelhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Bangalore. 3 mystery dates are yet to be revealed!

As per Plini’s Instagram pinned post, and from how the poster looks, this should be a part of the Sungazer tour. “hello 🙋🏻‍♂️ in 2026 there will be a new album & then a world tour. the first leg will be in the uk & europe with our incredible pals @sungazerrrr — tickets go on sale this Friday 🫶more details on the album soon :),” reads the caption.

Plini has toured India multiple times before this, the last one being his 2022 “Parrhesia” tour which covered Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore. It featured support from acts like Zenguin and The Tramlines Project. The Delhi NCR show at Imperfecto Patio, Gurugram on September 23, 2022 remains a major highlight. The show included popular tracks such as “Kind,” “Impulse Voices,” “Paper Moon,” “Handmade Cities,” and “Papelillo,”

While the 2019 “Sunhead” Tour included these three cities plus one more – Hyderabad. The year before saw his entry into the Indian music scene, including a VH1 Supersonic performance. Japan also witnessed the prog–rock icon way back in 2015.

Lately, his social media handle saw posts from Neural DSP on his experiences with tracks like “Helmi” and others with collaborator John Connearn. What Plini also posted is the full lineup of the Fuji Rock festival.
