Church Mice – I Found You | A Relaxing Ride

Church Mice, a five-piece rock band from Detroit, has just released a new song called “I Found You“. From the first drum roll, the song is very relaxing and has a good pace. The guitar opening is really beautiful and sets the tone for the rest of the song. The meanings of the songs are loaded with compassion. The words take us to a dimension of feeling in which we can truly sense the presence of love and care. The phrases are also kept simple, which makes the songs sound quite welcoming to the ears. Even the songwriting allows for some breathing room, which helps to keep the listener interested as the song unfolds. It allows listeners to investigate and travel with the tune.

The song is from the band’s latest album, “Flying“. Church Mice was formed at an early point by lyricist and songwriter Christian Carver Thompson and guitarist Bill Solomonson. The guitars are incredibly beautiful. Every guitar tone blends seamlessly into the next. The saxophone portions were a delight to listen to. Furthermore, the drums and bass work together to make everything tight and cohesive. They never seemed overpowering since they were written so well for the song. The song’s aftertaste definitely helps to keep the mind fresh and peaceful. I’m hoping that listeners will connect with the mood, and that as they learn about and engage with the songwriting, the song will be added to their playlists.
