‘Encore’ is Maliq’s latest single and features Akasha on the chorus. Maliq’s voice and vocal delivery is very similar to Rick Ross in this single. Powerful, yet groovy! The beat to this music is definitely not orthodox rap. The cover paints a picture of Rammstein getting into the rap game. It’s a very unorthodox style but it’s something that can be played in clubs on repeat. The production quality has improved from his previous music and Akashas voice adds a nice ambience to this track teleporting you to a 80s Detroit club.
This single is oozing the West coast style and Maliq is an embodiment of this. It’s a promising release, paving a path to a long career for Maliq. Here’s to hoping his releases keep getting better!
