Twenty One Pilots Drop the First Single ‘The Contract’ From Upcoming ‘Breach’ Album

Twenty One Pilots are not only out with their latest track called ‘The Contract’ from their upcoming ‘Breach’ album, but have announced a new tour as well, which kicks off pretty soon!

Alt–rock duo Twenty One Pilots have dropped their latest single, ‘The Contract’, from the upcoming ‘Breach’ album. The record is scheduled for release this September via Fueled by Ramen. The band has also announced a North American headlining tour, set to begin on September 18th.

The band chose to tease the album with a cryptic message over social media. 9 days before the release, the band had started with videos with countdown meters.

Finally, when announcing the album, they added, “hello Clancy, hello Blurryface, let’s finish this”. This was a reference to the final moments of ‘Paladin Strait’, the final track from their ‘Clancy’ album, released last year.

The video starts with a crowd of red-lit eyes staring at them as the band members seem to be running at the speed of light in an empty space. While the duo has packed in their signature cryptic lyricism, the track has received some critical reviews pointing out why this is not their best work. The airy synths and echoey piano chords, along with the polished production, make it sound quite poppy, a trait which has been criticised for not adding up to the much-required intense melodrama.

Twenty One Pilots – The Clancy Tour: Breach 2025 – Dates Out Now. Grab Your Tickets Fast!

21 Pilots are following up with the next tour pretty soon as well, considering the fact that it has been just six months since they wrapped up their last tour, the Clancy World Tour. The next tour kicks off in Cincinnati and continues from September 18th to October 25th. BMO Stadium in Los Angeles is the last venue on their schedule.
