Linkin Park and Slipknot to Headline Rock For People on its 30th Birthday

Linkin Park just announced their 50 day world tour next year and it includes their headlining set at Czechia’s Rock for People festival. The rockers are about the stage on fire with their new vocalist Emily Armstrong alongside heavy metallers Slipknot at Hradec Kralove’s Park 360 next year June. The 1995 born festival is all set to celebrate its 30th birthday from June 11th to 14th.

The list further includes Fontaines D.C., IDLES, Spiritbox, In Flames, Motionless In White, Jerry Cantrell, Poppy, Creeper, Skillet and loads more!

The news of Linkin Park performing was quite a surprise to festival founder Michal Thomes. “I never would have thought that we would have the artist who is the most ‘hot name’ globally for the season at Rock for People and we would be one of the first select festivals to get the band,” says Michal. “I couldn’t have dreamed up a better way to celebrate Rock for People’s 30th birthday!”

The previous years have seen many big names to headline the Rock for People stage. This includes Muse, My Chemical Romance, Arctic Monkeys, 30 Seconds to Mars and many more! What had started out in 1995 with only 1100 visitors had as many as 40,000 music fans attending last year! Performers included Avril Lavigne, The Offspring, Being Me To Horizon, Sum 41 and many more!
