Kings of Leon announce 2024 World Tour; "Mustang" music video out now

Alt-rock powerhouse Kings of Leon have announced their upcoming full-length studio album , “Can We Please Have Fun”, arriving on May 10th. The GRAMMY award-winning band have signed a new label partnership with Capitol Records for their ninth album. “Mustang” is available to stream now, along with a high-flying music video set on the backdrop of the city hustle.

Kings of Leon have also announced a huge world tour this year. The tour starts at Vive Latino in Mexico and the band is scheduled to travel across countries like UK, Germany, and Poland. Kings of Leon will perform a headline set at BST Hyde Park, London on Sunday, June 30th. Additional international dates are to be announced shortly.

The US and Canada leg of the tour includes 26 cities starting off with Moody Center, Austin, Texas. Click here for the full itinerary.

“Can We Please Have Fun” – the band’s new album

The album “Can We Please Have Fun” is a document of one of the era’s greatest rock and roll bands. As the name suggests, it’s about having fun – cutting loose, and trying new things, just how rock and roll is essentially supposed to be! We get to see a new side of Kings of Leon here, relevant while still maintaining their bold and gritty image. The band recorded the album at Dark Horse studio in Nashville and produced it with new collaborator Kid Harpoon (Harry Styles, Florence + the Machine).

“It was the most enjoyable record I’ve ever been a part of,” Caleb (lead vocals/rhythm guitar) says. “It’s like we allowed ourselves to be musically vulnerable,” Nathan(drums/percussion) adds.

The band is planning to make it big this year. “When you have a band, there’s a bond like no other, and when you have family, you have a bond like no other,” Caleb says. “We have both of those things. I thought, if we put all our energy toward something, who is gonna stop us? Who can stop us except us?”

Since their 2023 debut, the band has released eight albums so far. The multi-platinum-selling band has had five singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, all seven of their studio albums on Billboard’s Top 200 list and two singles that reached #1 on Modern Rock radio. In addition, the band have also had eight Grammy nominations and 3 wins.
