Billie Eilish Hit on the Face With a Necklace During her Arizona Concert

When she was towards the end of the concert, Billie Eilish was hit with a flying object during her latest Arizona concert. The nine time Grammy winner was performing her popular hit number number “What Was I Made For?” from the Barbie film soundtrack. The incident took place at Glendale’s Desert Diamond Arena, last Friday evening.

It apparently hit Eilish’s head before falling to the floor. Meanwhile Eilish backed away for a moment, disturbed but unharmed, gained composure and kept on singing as she tossed the necklace aside. The crowd, almost as shocked as she was, shouted, “No!” as we can hear from the footage. We can also hear apologies, one fan saying “I’m sorry”.

While this adds to the list of celebrities attacked by objects onstage, we have seen several such incidents lately. Singer Bebe Rexha had a cell phone thrown on her face last year. Bebe posted photos of her bruised eye later. Just a few weeks later, Ava Max was slapped by a fan onstage. The fan was banned to attend her shows forever. Even popstar-rapper Cardi B has not been spared. During her performance at Drai’s Beachclub in Las Vegas, an audience threw their drink at the rapper. This prompted her to throw the microphone into the crowd on the attacker. The list of artists attacked onstage by objects include Kalsea Ballerini, Harry Styles, Pink and Drake as well.

Billie Eilish concludes the North American leg of her “Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour” this week with a list of shows lined up at Kia Forum in Inglewood. Check out the full list of shows for the tour on her official website!
