Aerosmith meets Yungblud: Classic Rockers set to Drop new Material After 13 Years

Contemporary rock star Yungblud has collaborated with Aerosmith for a new EP, slated for release on November 21st. The news was out 2 days after they released the teaser video for “My Only Angel”. The song is now available on all streaming platforms.

They took to Instagram, as well as other social media platforms, to announce the release date via a collaboration post. “Long live rock n roll music. Love forever, Aerosmith and Yungblud,” reads the post.

Apart from the teaser track “My Only Angel”, the EP includes a new remix of Aerosmith’s 1976 classic “Back in the Saddle“. This comes with three new tracks – “Problems”, “Wild Woman”, and “A Thousand Days“.

Although Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler‘s last release has been his 2023 collaboration with Dolly Parton on her song “I Want You Back”, Aerosmith has not released anything since their 2012 album “Music From Another Dimension!”

2024 saw the band announcing a retirement from touring due to Tyler’s vocal cord injury. However, Tyler performed several times in London last year with the Black Crowes.
