Love Crushed Velvet is an alt rock banner that is formed by singer/songwriter A.L.X. together with drummer Thommy Price and Jimi K Bones. The band drives towards a dynamism that is reminiscent of both traditional and modern rock. Their soundscapes feature prominent pop and electronic dimensiones as well. There’s some rock n roll, synthwave, and even disco thrown in there sometimes! So think The Who, Blondie, Joan Jett but also Tame Impala and The Weeknd.

Their latest release is ‘Blind Emotions’, a single that perhaps best encapsulates the balance that they strike among all these genres. It is an energetic pop-rock anthem with a readymade 80s cast. Paired with a piano, the vocals are evocative and bluesy like Billy Joel’s. And the rest of the soundscape thumps with dance beats, colorful synth streamers, and enjoyable highs. Listen Now!
Love Crushed debuted in 2010 with their self-titled album and have since garnered a quick and fast fandom. Adding to their explorative and diverse pool of music, they released a second album in 2015 and a third in 2022.
