Joey Collins – A Love Long Gone | Floating on Air

Joey Collins is a singer-songwriter and producer based in Nottingham, England. His work is introspective and emotional, with an eye for the melancholic moods of the music world. Joey Collins is one of the few songwriters that can depict the human experience as well as he does with his musical collection of songs. Whether whimsical or sombre, cheerful or poignant, his lyrics are always deeply personal and relatable.

Furthermore, Collins has gained a great deal of help from BBC Introducing. In 2020, he was ranked 20th in the East Midlands music scene’s top 25 “most played” chart.

With an innate passion for his profession, he has amassed a significant amount of live experience. Such as, accompanying Starsailor frontman James Walsh to touring worldwide with musicians like Stuart Braithwaite of Mogwai and Joe Keogh of Amber Run in Nottingham, UK.

Additionally, his recent release ‘A Love Long Gone’ is a breath of fresh air. It leaves listeners yearning for a love to come and believe in them. The lyrics are wonderful, and they make you want a companion who adores and praises you as Joey does in the track.

It’s the type of song where he meets a girl at the bar and completely falls for her. This is a classic example of ‘love at first sight.’ Giving off that mysterious, fun vibe for music lovers everywhere that help you fall in love with the track as much as Joey was with the girl he sings about falling for! Flowing with alluring tunes, Joey’s soothing voice captivates his audience from start to finish.

Joey’s upbeat tempo and soulful voice bring it all together in the most perfect way. It will definitely leave you asking for more!
