Coloured Clocks- Castle | Tranquilizing

James Wallace’s Coloured Clocks is a beautiful solo project that will touch your soul. The musician is based out of Melbourne, Australia, and has a true gift for creating music that is moving. If you’re looking for something new to add to your playlist, check out James Wallace’s “Coloured Clocks.”

He has come up with a new album called “Castle,” which has 13 songs. We all have that song that transports us to another place, whether a happy memory or a time and place we long to return to. For me, that song is “In the Castle.” This song takes you on a journey with its terrific piano and guitar work. The bassline is mellow and follows a gentle pace, making it the perfect song to relax to.

“Universe” and “Flightless Tigers” songs open with bright, chipper synths and a bouncy bassline, providing the perfect backdrop for the airy vocals. They give you hope and happiness. “Flightless Tigers” had more intense guitar work and gives an indie rock song vibe, and I am here for it.

“In Good Time” is one of those songs that just hits you right in the feels. The amazing sound effects, guitar work, and raspy vocals create a truly emotive experience. Even though the song has so many layers, each element is apparent and adds to the overall effect.

“Future Love” is a great song that creates an exciting atmosphere for future love. The psychedelic effects and great beats make it a perfect song for a night out or a romantic evening. I loved the drum work on this song. It really added to the overall vibe.

“Only lonely” has such a retro vibe that I can’t help but love it! The musical arrangement is breezy, and I can’t get enough of it.

“Not Alright” is different from all the other songs. It is just James’ vocals and a beautiful minimal musical arrangement. The song is very personal and raw, and it’s easy to feel the emotion in James’ voice.

“Sun and Lightning” is unique. It follows a faster pace, and halfway through, the pace drops, and just as you think the song is coming to an end, it picks up just like now life gets back to normal after chaos. This was my favorite part of the song.

While most songs stick to one specific mood or feeling, “Castleworld” takes you on a journey from the beginning. The opening guitar work is excellent, and the vocals add an extra layer of interest to the song. I found myself grooving along in my seat throughout the entire song. This 7+ minute track covers so many different moods and variations, making it a gratifying experience from start to finish.

“How the Story Goes” is another work of art. The synths and bassline create a story of their own with beautiful guitar work. The song has a great feeling to it and is very catchy. I love how it builds up and then intensifies during the climax. ” Set in Stone” is the follow-up to “Here the Story Goes,” It features a faster tempo and clearer vocals. The guitar work is once again top-notch, and the bassline is groovy.

The song “Tore Me Apart” has a gloomy undertone. The piano work gives a personal touch. Another mid-song dip and pick-up in the album. By the song’s end, you feel like the misery has passed, and life is even more wonderful now.

If you’re looking for a song to help you relax and forget stress, look no further than “Von.” This song has a beautiful musical arrangement that will lull you into a sense of peace and tranquility. Whether you’re winding down after a long day or falling asleep, “Von” is the perfect song to help you relax and drift off into a calm and restful state.
