Carpe Diem Set Out a Contemplative Ensemble with Latest Release, Airborne

Carpe Diem is back again with another one of their contemplative ensembles. In their latest single, Airborne, the duo reform traditional folk music setups with ethereal themes. It is intricately woven with tragedy and melancholy. Slow spells of melodies and rhythm loosely tie into the track as the enchanting vocals tell a haunting tale. The artists largely explore the spheres of poetry and philosophy to discover the mysteries and stories of the soul. And it is truly incredible how their sparing soundscapes instill a sense of wondrous fullness in the listener. Listen Now!

The track insightfully envisioned, beautifully written, and mesmerizingly executed. It is initially contextualized with sounds of children playing, laughing and gleeful. After this introductory interlude, the woeful shift in instrumentation is powerful. One gleaming note after the other, it is reminiscent of The Beatles blues folk era. The strings, uniquely paced, spells out a language that the outworldly vocals interact with. We can’t help but be hypnotized and stilled by a tragic clairvoyance that is woven into the track. It disperses into the air and envelopes us all into its world.

The track is available for streaming on popular sites like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music!
