Dax introspects with his brilliant hip-hop single , “The Abyss”

If anyone wants to learn reinvention, Dax is the direction to look toward. From diss tracks to an introspective poet that changed his course of life, I look upon him as a rapping messiah. Someone who will make you question, ask and demand quality in the kind of music you listen to. This barrage of truth barrels down once again with his latest single. This is The Abyss.

A dive into nothingness. Devoid of matter, reason, light. That’s where the questions of existentialism begin. That is where Dax wants us to visit. With his surgical lyrical prowess, he gives us as many sentences as he asks. There are sentences that will stick to you like a magnet, for the way he has phrased them. Listen to this part in the track:

We only get one chance if you blink then you might just miss it

Many people come and go, they all just visit

Don’t ever expect none different

This is where his vocabulary expands into not just delivering some quality hip-hop, but also the reason this genre became one with the people. On the 50-year anniversary of the genre, his song is a marker for progress. There are lessons to be learnt, line by line. This track is from his latest album, What is Life? You witness a motion of thought, varying from being to being and states of matter. As he brings you in to the conversation, you feel the addiction to rhyme with him. However, there can only be one. Self professed metalhead, moderately well read. If the music has soul, it's whole to me. The fact that my bio could have ended on a rhyme and doesn't should tell you a lot about my personality.
