“Treated her like property” – Penthouse Model Exposes 1989 Sexual Assault by Axl Rose

A Penthouse magazine model has filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against the lead singer of rock band Guns N’ Roses. Model Sheila Kennedy filed the report in New York, citing an incident from 1989. The incident had occurred when she had first met Axl Rose at a New York nightclub. Sheila was 26 years old back then.

Axl Rose Accused of “Sexual, Volatile Rage”

Describing the incident, Kennedy alleged that Rose forcibly brought her into his hotel room, restrained her, and sexually assaulted her in an aggressive and volatile manner.

According to the lawsuit, Rose “treated her like property used solely for his sexual pleasure”.

Kennedy did not give consent and felt overwhelmed, perceiving that she had no means of escape. She feared that refusing or resisting could lead to physical harm or worse.

Kennedy detailed out the night, when it all started with her going to a nightclub with a friend, and thereafter being invited by the singer for an afterparty in his hotel suite.

What allegedly followed was Rose providing cocaine, champagne, and various other alcoholic beverages to the guests, simultaneously promoting the idea of group sex, as detailed in the lawsuit. He then proceeded to have “aggressive” sex with another model, while Kennedy attempted to leave.

However, Rose happened to find her, and pushed her to the floor. “While Kennedy was on the ground, Rose grabbed her by the hair and dragged her across the suite back to his bedroom,” stated the lawsuit.

She was allegedly tied by a pantyhose, bleeding and vulnerable when Rose forced himself upon her.

Rose Used His Fame to Manipulate, the Model Claims

Rose targeted Kennedy in 1989, when he was at the peak of his commercial success. Rose used his fame, status, and power as a celebrity and performer in the music industry to gain access to manipulate, control, and violently sexually assault Kennedy,” stated the lawsuit.

The incident resulted in PTSD for Kennedy, and she struggled with anxiety and depression, while her career went downhill.

She is reportedly suing at present for an unspecified amount.
