BTS star Jung Kook announces his first official documentary: Jung Kook: I Am Still. The film premieres on September 18th in over 120 countries and regions.
I Am Still has been directed by Junsoo Park and produced by Jiwon Yoon. With exclusive interviews, behind the scenes footage and moments from his live performances, the film tells the story of the BTS icon’s development as a solo artist. It is based on the eight months that the artist took after his highly successful solo album “Seven” featuring Latto. Around 3 months later, Kook dropped his first solo album “Golden”.
“Jung Kook: I Am Still” – Trafalgar releasing behind the release
Trafalgar Releasing is behind the film release everywhere, except Korea and Japan. The same distributors were behind the release of Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour and Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé last year. Along with this film, they will release Usher’s Rendezvous in Paris concert film on the same week.

“Delving into his creative process, unwavering work ethic and the unique challenges faced by a global superstar, the film presents exclusive, never-before-seen footage and interviews alongside electrifying concert performances,” reads the release. “This poignant portrait showcases Jung Kook’s unwavering dedication and artistic evolution.”
In the November episode of Suchwita, the talk show hosted by his bandmate SUGA, Kook had hinted about the release, He had also stated that the documentary follows his time from release of “Seven” to the album release as per the show’s English translation. The South Korean singer-songwriter had also talked about feeling pressured in front of the camera alone unlike when with the group.
Film tickets go on sale on August 21st.
