1. The song ‘All I Need’ carries a certain emotional vulnerability that’s simply unforgettable. What made you create such an emotionally driven yet musically balanced piece that doesn’t feel too overpowering and still manages to move you to the core?
It was just an outflow of feelings I had at the time, without trying to make the lyrics perfect. In fact it was one of the songs where my producer Bass Emperor and I spent way more time on the production, and on making the beat and melodies convey the exact emotion that I had while writing the song. To me beauty lies in the contradictions, and I love the vulnerability of the lyrics over the chaotic pace of the breakcore beats. That contrast is very personal to me because I’m calm on the outside, but there’s always a lot happening internally. I wanted the song to mirror that balance.
2. How would you introduce yourself and your art to someone who’s listening to you for the first time? You can be creative in your answer.
I’d probably describe my songs as love letters at 170 BPM. They’re fun but honest and emotional.
3. The dreamy indie pop genre of your music is refreshing to listen to. Where do you seek inspiration from?
I’m inspired by everything I consume – so films, books, even just internet culture as a whole. I grew up listening to rock music, but most of my playlists now are filled with a mix of hyperpop, alternative R&B, and dancehall. Whenever I make a song, I’m subconsciously pulling from all those influences.
4. Tell us about your favorite project that you have worked on so far.
I would say All I Need itself. It was one of the first songs where I felt like I stopped overthinking and just instinctively knew what I wanted to make. I wrote all of it in a single sitting after coming up with the hook, and once I was done I knew I had to record it immediately. If you distilled everything that I am as a person – my tastes and interests and emotions – into one song, it would be All I Need.
5. Do you think art (especially, music) has some special purpose or is it merely a 3-4 minute of entertainment?
Art can be entertainment, but it’s also way, way more than that. It can completely change someone’s mindset and perspective, or even their life. For example at the beginning of this year I watched Marty Supreme, and I found it so inspiring that ever since then I’ve been moving different and taking my own art a lot more seriously. Art can also be a source of comfort. It makes the highs higher and the lows easier to cope with.

6. Life and society affects the way we perceive and even, create art. What makes you the talented, bold and beautiful artist that you are?
To me, art is what bridges the gap between what life is and what we want from life. Every experience I’ve ever had has influenced the way I observe the people and things around me. And the best art comes from letting go of the outcome and allowing yourself to express your thoughts and feelings without any filter.
