Our Demise maintain reign on deathcore metal with their single, “Flesh Vessel”

Our Demise are deathcore from Perth, Australia. Their sound follows years of deathcore development, as well as a signature sound of theirs. With 2 singles under the belt, they return with a dynamite loaded landfill in their latest single. Better close the windows for this one, this single is called Flesh Vessel.

The striking precision and rage

The starting few seconds of deathcore usually let you know how good a song is. With just the guitar tone and riff, I knew this was going to be my aggro jam. Production is incredible on this single, with sharp vocals and percussion standing out. It is an exciting single, something that carries that fistful of gunpowder to the centre of the flame. Our Demise are better than ever with their chemistry, innovating some pretty cool licks over the strafing beat of the drums. Flesh Vessel is a step up from their single Valiant, which I had reviewed some time ago. The band has come together with some real skill and contemplation to bring this neck wrecker in such short notice. The single is revolutionary in terms of structure, and abides to no set standard of the genre. Maybe Our Demise have created their own pocket with this sound.

Their single Vultures remains the best for me, while this comes pretty damn close. This single is a culmination of progress and stylized rage from a band that is done warming up. This song proved it, and now on, it’s a lawn mower at the front of a monster truck. You’ll hear them coming:

Self professed metalhead, moderately well read. If the music has soul, it's whole to me. The fact that my bio could have ended on a rhyme and doesn't should tell you a lot about my personality.
