Talia Grace, a native of Los Angeles, California, discovered her musical talents at the age of seven in a home filled with music. Starting with piano lessons, she began performing with her siblings by the age of nine. By 12, Talia had developed a love for writing and recording music. Influenced by artists like Copeland, Bon Iver, Noah Gundersen, and Phoebe Bridgers, her music explores themes of sadness, spirituality, and the human experience. Talia hopes her art resonates with and connects to her listeners.

The EP opens with the soulful “The Girl Before The Girl.” This song starts with a soulful piano melody that tugs at your heartstrings. Talia’s voice enters, soft yet powerful, singing about feelings of not being someone’s first choice and wanting more than to be a backup plan. Her vocals are beautiful and truly capture the emotions of pining for someone who doesn’t treat you with the same affection. Musically, the piano really sets a melancholy mood, while Talia’s performance is absolutely stellar.
