Mad Nad Bo Delivers Vulnerable Jazz Infused RnB Performance on “Could I, Would I”

Though originally from Scotland, Nad is Swiss, having grown up in St. Gallen’s Rhine Valley, lived in Zurich and Edinburgh, and now residing on the southern shores of Lake Zurich. She has a deep love for blues, soul, and jazz, blending these genres with modern pop elements to reintroduce classic sounds to contemporary audiences. Nad’s distinct voice is complemented by her husband Sandro Jordan on guitar, Annie Mumford on drums, and Dominique Borriello on drums, with alternating bassists. Influenced by artists like Amy Winehouse, Peggy Lee, and Muddy Waters, Mad Nad Bo creates a unique musical fusion.

Musically, “Could I, Would I” has a jazzy, laidback vibe anchored by lush keys, synth textures, and a rhythm section that grooves without overpowering the vocals. The production allows Nadine’s voice to truly shine while keeping the beat subtly hypnotic.
