Did it happen already? Yes, it did. The Lunar Bird duo announced the release of their ‘Whatever Time We Have Left’ EP on 29th May alongside their Italian-language single ‘Sinderesi’. The Lunar Bird is an indie pop duo formed between Italy and Wales. Their new EP ‘Whatever Time We Have Left’ explores the core of human existence and reflects on how easily it can be lost. The duo has more potential than you might have led on to believe. Under the Radar premiered their single “The Things We Used To,” and John Kennedy supported it on Radio X.
The Lunar Bird has a subtle dream-pop influence. Their music is an interesting blend of delicate synth textures, reflective lyricism, and a touch of psychedelia. This creative mix evokes the atmospheric synth and cinematic soundscapes. Now their new EP ‘Whatever Time We Have Left’ is out and already the talk of the town.

‘Whatever Time We Have Left’ EP breakdown
Two talented artists, Roberta Musillami (singer-songwriter and synth player) and Eliseo Di Malto (songwriter, bassist, and visual artist), make up The Lunar Bird. The ‘Whatever Time We Have Left’ starts with angelic and soft vocals. The bassist Eliseo describes the EP as a photographic album. It unfolds and gathers fleeting moments of life and memory into intimate snapshots and fragments that many listeners will recognise as their own. Listening to ‘Whatever Time We Have Left’ evokes the quiet familiarity of an old family album. Also, the EP has emotional depth, and it hits different when the lyrics say, ‘If I wish to hurt you or hurt you so bad. I am not sure.’

The core of ‘Whatever Time We Have Left’
At its core, the ‘Whatever Time We Have Left’ EP uses music to place time at the centre of our existence. It explores the emotions of something that slips through our fingers, something we lose, and instinctively try to resist. Furthermore, this EP hides a message when you listen to it carefully. It embraces time as a force of healing and transformation and patiently mends and reshapes who we are. It invites us to inhabit and honour our inner sense of time. So if the lyrics, ‘If I’m living my life or awaiting the end, you can betray me or give me an instant of your love,’ resonate with you, then ‘Whatever Time We Have Left’ will be a great addition to your playlist.
