Ralphy- Confess Unplugged| Raw and Intense

Ralphy is an indie-pop artist based out of Australia. Her music is just as enthralling as her live performances. From her debut in 2016, she’s been igniting the LA music industry with her heart-pounding lyrics and high-energy performances.

Ralphy’s songwriting approach surpasses categorization by combining classic splendor with her unique fiery approach. Her self-titled first album is a compilation of dance floor bangers ranging from sensual R&B to dark 80’s new-wave disco, so every new song feels as nostalgic as your favorite soundtrack, but with a fresh approach that makes them excellent current dance floor anthems. Ralphy has carved out a unique spot in the indie-pop music market by presenting herself through her songs.

Confess is an incredible song that showcases Ralphy’s vocal talents, but the unplugged rendition of this song is simply breath-taking. The original still has a lot of vibrancy and life to it, yet the unplugged version of the song comes off as sadder in tone, with an old and almost haunting undertone that is most likely what helps make it more soothing as you listen. With Ralphy’s voice coming through crystal clear when anyone turns on the track, along with his incredibly raw ability to belt out some tunes so effortlessly, followed by the acoustic guitar melodies Ori Aframayan plays into his instrument, it’s really hard to not be able to enjoy this new dimension of ‘Confess’. It puts you in a trance that is hard to pull yourself out of after you immerse yourself in it for a few minutes.
