Alex Spinney – I Remember | Moonlight Dinners

Alex Spinney’s new song, ‘I Remember,’ is full with romantic scents. This is really a lovely ballad with so many unexpected flavours from Blues, Soul, Gospel, and Pop. Overall, the aroma is really distinct and fresh. Alex Spinney is a multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter from South London. He acquired a passion for composing music after petitioning his parents to let him learn piano when he was four years old. Alex dabbled with a variety of genres as he grew up, but no matter which path he chose, he always returned to the realm of modern pop music.

‘I Remember’ begins with loud piano strokes and is quickly followed by a vocal that immerses you in the passion of love. As a ballad, the music soothes you and makes you sway to the beat. The chorus is really catchy, and the harmonies complement it perfectly. The drums are in perfect time with the music. The arrangement is incredibly well-executed, with a great deal of attention put into it. The voice has a great expressiveness. Alex sounds very promising. His ideas and his performances astounded me much. His promise has certainly raised my expectations, and I eagerly await his upcoming tunes.

In a nutshell, Alex Spinney’s I Remember is a lovely song that will make you feel better. The songwriting is so polished and relevant that it should immediately resonate with listeners. Alex’s great talent is his ability to blend several genre-based concepts into a popular sound is exceptional. I’m hoping that listeners would recognise and appreciate such out-of-the-box thinking.
