Avalon Stone brings her hard rock riffage to a full stop with her debut, “Forget You”

Avalon Stone proves with her music that the hardest rock is in the indie sphere. Her music derives and inspires from Alice in Chains, The Cranberries and Black Sabbath, but its safe to say she has her own classy voice in the mix now. A natural performer from the age of 10, it should come to no surprise the earthquakes she can create. This is her latest single, Forget You.

She’s bringing the pain with overdrive and gain. Avalon Stone wastes no time to present her enormous riff to us, and I for one am instantly hooked. Riff based rock has been taking a back seat for some time lately, and I’m not ok with it. Heavy, drop D and darker than many people’s destiny, Avalon brews up the perfect storm. The chugging verse section is the kind of build up that is going to be the ultimate reward.

Avalon Stone creates a rock anthem with her debut

Her vocals for the chorus are specially dramatic, with modulation and turbulence bringing the real essence of rock. This would be a thunderous performance to see live, so if you get a chance, you better see it. I’m still obsessed with the riff, and no, I shall not stop humming it.

For a debut single, Avalon Stone seems to be proving a lot. This song has all the meat and revolution that breathes in renaissance. Her song will prepare you for more amazing textures and styles that she wants to explore. It shall be glorious. Listen to her single here:

Self professed metalhead, moderately well read. If the music has soul, it's whole to me. The fact that my bio could have ended on a rhyme and doesn't should tell you a lot about my personality.
