SamSeb Kierkegaard-Luna: Dependent Personality Disorder | Goth Supremacy

SamSeb Kierkegaard is an emo revivalist. The goth kid that everyone scorned at school, its him. However, that doesn’t matter. Even Bowie, this artist massive inspiration was technically the originator of the emo genre. This rock star doesn’t need a traditional face mask. His music is his real one. This is his new single, Luna: Dependent Personality Disorder.

For such an expressive song, SamSeb Kierkegaard has made sure the lyrics nor the melody take the spotlight. Using effects and delays with masterful precision, this artist lets it all show in this spectacular single. With a chord progression that is joyful and upbeat, The lyrics however, stay true to the image of the experience this artist portrays. Like the other songs in the Luna series, each tackles an aspect of irony or societal disparage that is expressively put. With some kick-ass guitar and drums.

This isn’t SamSeb Kierkegaard on his first rodeo. He’s been releasing powerful singles from 2020, Metamorphosis being the first one. This track cements his name as an indie emo pioneer, and we hope to hear more from him. His powerful voice strains only slightly, even though he chooses a higher key to sing on. Little to no editing shows the true flavor of the voice we admire listening to.

Self professed metalhead, moderately well read. If the music has soul, it's whole to me. The fact that my bio could have ended on a rhyme and doesn't should tell you a lot about my personality.
