It’s that time of the year again! Lights galore, carols resound in every hallway, with the world over gearing up to celebrate Christmas– and such an occasion demands a new batch of Christmas jams served on a platter. One such song is “It All Feels Like Christmas” by Martin Reynolds, my experience of listening to which I will be diving into over the course of this review. Keep reading!
The whole song has this festive, celebratory mood to it– as one would expect out of a Christmas-themed song. The instruments are bright and lively, with the vocals blending in juuuust right. When I was listening to this song, it felt as though the whole scene of a home with a group singing this song was in front of me. This song does a rather good job of bringing together its elements to make the presentation sound cohesive, and in summation, fun and engaging a listen.
The production, like I always take time to talk about in my reviews, does not disappoint– with elements of brass being a tasteful addition, and the piano complementing it quite well. The mix is gentle and gives all the elements of the song their space and their presence in the field.
