The Fallen Electric-Move To The Sound | Rock the temple

You’ve missed the 90’s alt-rock for some time. It’s an insatiable urge like commenting on a YouTube video of a politician pretending to care. The Fallen Electric take care of the main need there, the soul and spine to rock out to good music. Their new single Move To The Sound is out now. Is it good? Well, the answer is partly in the title.

Let’s unravel the fun mystery that is Move To The Sound. With a Les Paul rock sound like Slash, The Fallen Electric know who dominated the 90s rock sound. The leading riff is scrumptious, and maintains its authority throughout the song. The vocals are inspired by your favorites like Sum 41, blink-182 and in parts even Axl and Perry Farrell. I couldn’t get enough of this track in one listen, so I heard it so many more times.

The drums seem to get me, though simple in fills are very effective. The solo is stuck in my head, with a bluesy step on it and the fiber to electrify that section of the song. You might have heard of this band from their hit single Only You I See. You might have not. Immaterial, this is worth knowing what is out there for us, and to ask ourselves do we deserve it all. Maybe not, seeing the way they have been riding their roller coaster career. We just have to wait and see what else they have in store for us.

I cannot dance, but The Fallen Electric can take control there. I guess I just have to [ insert track title here].

Self professed metalhead, moderately well read. If the music has soul, it's whole to me. The fact that my bio could have ended on a rhyme and doesn't should tell you a lot about my personality.
