“Daylight” by Ninali Is an Indie Pop Anthem of Optimism and Hope

Ninali’s musical journey commenced at a young age when she discovered a love for singing and composing. She signed with an indie label and released her debut single, “Lovedrunk,” in Belgium in 2011 at the age of 18, garnering attention on numerous radio stations and landing a slot on Radio 2’s compilation CD. The following year, her breezy pop single reached number 34 on Belgium’s Ultratip charts. Ninali has dazzled the stage with her performances, including opening acts for local bands in Belgium. Her music incorporates hyper-melodic pop and jazzy vibes with R&B influences. Ninali makes a comeback with fresh energy to pursue her music career after a hiatus filled with global adventures, love, and inspiration.

“Daylight,” Ninali’s latest single, is a charming indie pop gem that easily blends an enthusiastic pace with a melodic aura. The start of the song is rather slow, building anticipation as you wait for the beats to arrive. It’s an instant winner as the chorus and beats start off, complemented by Ninali’s enticing voice.

One of the song’s defining features is the consistent layering of synths that reminds you of the retro era. The crisp beats keep the song fresh and lively, ensuring the mood remains constantly upbeat.  The chorus adds to the touch of dreamy atmosphere.

Now, let’s talk about Ninali’s vocal performance, which absolutely steals the show. Her polished and emotional vocals drew me in from the very beginning. She navigates various vocal ranges seamlessly, displaying a remarkable ability to adapt to different tones and emotions.

Beyond the music, the lyrics of the song are profoundly moving, conveying an optimistic and hopeful message. Ninali encourages her listeners never to give up hope and to look on the bright side of life. Lines like “You don’t see your magic isn’t gone, I can tell you that everything will be alright” feel like words of encouragement from a loved one. “Daylight” by Ninali is undoubtedly a hit in my book.
