Hailing from Denver, CO, Elektric Animals is an Alternative Rock band. The band’s sound is an engaging blend of garage rock from the 90s, classic blues, alternative indie rock, and a hint of post-grunge. “Obsessive” and “Cool Calm Collected” were their first singles to hit the Denver scene in early 2018. Quoting Hot Lunch Music, “Reminiscent of the swagger rock masters Welshly Arms, Elektric Animals will be one to keep an eye on in the coming years if these singles are any indication of what’s to come.”
The 5 piece band is back with a distinctive garage rock sound on their new single “Come Clean”. With a catchy hook line, crunchy vocals and a groovy bass line, this song this song is very well produced to spotlight that swagger rock feel. The bridge starts with a stripped-down sound and progressively builds layers of guitar riffs and backing vocals, and it ends with a signature emotive grunge growl, followed by the sizzling, catchy hook. Produced by Eric Michaels, this insightful single was released under an independent record label, Third String Records. This upbeat track really makes you rock your head along with its beats, and is a must add to your road-trip playlists. The under 3-minute duration makes it easily loopable.
“Come Clean” is the first release of Elektric Animals’ upcoming EP, “Channels”. With the perfectly achieved signature classic garage rock sound on this single, it will be interesting to see the spectrum of different sounds they will cover in the EP.
