Let us find out what this song has in store for the listeners.
The latest single by Splitting Hairs, Dark Magic, is an out-and-out rock composition at its core. But the inclusion of electronic elements and synths gives it a slight pop edge as well. The song starts with a beautiful melody. It instantly hits the listeners, and you feel that the track is gradually drawing you in. There is an acoustic guitar present throughout the mix, and it adds a raw, more honest feel to the overall soundscape. Besides that, the synth plays a very important role in the composition. It fills the soundscape with spacey elements and a melodic progression that brings the song to life.
In addition to the overall instrumentation and arrangement, the vocals take the song to a higher level. The male and female voices complement each other beautifully and make this song sound like a breath of fresh air. Overall, the production of the song is also flawless. The intricate sonic elements can be heard with utmost clarity, and that gives this song a very hypnotic vibe, thus making the listeners want to lose themselves in the composition completely.
