Beyond the Sun is a trio of brothers who have understood themselves via their music. From indie chart topping hits to anthems that you can sing from the comfort of your home, a challenge seems out of place for this band. This is their latest single, Get Myself Out.
With a showstopping intro, they use minimalism to its maximal output. The song begins with a restrained rhythm section and builds, to what can be called a glorious cascade. The track is an ode to the choices that one makes, the power of the self and the directions you can traverse. To amplify on the same, they create a thumping beat, complete with building synth sounds and guitars. The electronica bleeds in with their pop sensibilities, a fusion of all that they admire and can create. The trio has never sounded better-owing to the amalgamation of ideas and musical output.
If 2019’s Be My Queen is no indicator for you to how big they can make their music sound, you need to explore their catalogue. I would call it a jukebox of surprises, they don’t restrict or deny themselves any musical pleasure, as long as they know they can enjoy it. Consequently, we do too. Over and Bittersweet are other symphonic highlights, for a band that has not taken a pause. They know how moments go by, and chase a golden dream.
