Solven – Save You | Uplifting Deep House

Following the successful release of “Summer Wave” and “Sugar Flame”,  house music producer Solven is back with a melodic house track that will surely get you moving, titled, “Save You”. Known for his fresh and experimental approach to curating sounds and beats, his latest release is a masterfully produced, upbeat EDM banger that would easily get your feet tapping in any club.

The track is introduced with a dreamy electric guitar melody that accompanies Solven’s melancholic vocals along with some light strums on the acoustic. From the very beginning, “Save You” has a nostalgic feel, reminiscent of uplifting EDM tracks from artists such as Kygo and Armin Van Buuren, owing to the familiar chord progressions. As the track progresses, it develops a deep house sound that is mainly driven by a kick and syncopated percussion.

Solven sings with a lot of emotion in this song and his vocals carry his moving lyrics beautifully. It’s about fighting for the person you love and making all the sacrifices you can before it is too late. This song emphasizes the fact that nothing lasts forever and we should always appreciate and cherish those we love.

With its catchy melodies and gripping drops, “Save You” is a song that holds a lot of sentiment. The fact that Solven has crafted such an important message into an electronic track you can easily dance to shows his incredible skills as a songwriter and producer. The Greek producer strives for creating authentic electronic music that shares an insightful story with the listeners, and on “Save You” he has done exactly that!

It was an honour to have the opportunity to interview him and here’s what he had to share with us…

  • Q1 – “Save You” features powerful and engaging vocals that sound absolutely amazing! What inspired you to write this track?
  • Before I talk about my latest song I would like to thank you for your time and for giving me the chance to talk about “Save You”. As an artist I like my music to express a deeper more emotional meaning, it all started with the guitars that you hear which were recorded by me. After making the instrumental I felt that it could bring a powerful message to the listener, so I found this really emotional vocals singing about a topic you really don’t hear this days in commercial music. So I could say the inspiration was to make a song reminding people that everything can change and that we all need a person to be there for us for bad & good, with a positive mindset.
  • Q2 – If you had the chance to collaborate with any artist in the world on this track, who would it be and why?
  • Well I really love Robin Schulz music, he is really an inspiration for me, I would love to work with him on some guitar deep house song (like his songs Sugar, Prayer In C(Remix) )
  • Q3 – What would you like listeners to take away from “Save You”?
  • I would like the listeners to feel what is like to fight for someone against all circumstances. The song is talking about a more serious situation (The doctor said a year or two), and how someone would do anything in their power to save their loved ones. I think it’s a powerful message that says against all odds that you still try and hope for the best.
  • Q4 – Your Spotify following is impressive and you’ve released a number of singles since 2018! How has the journey been so far? Do you have any advice for up-and-coming musicians?
  • Well in my career I made a lot of different choices, I started with Dubstep Productions, then future bass and trap but I was always intrigued by Deep Melodic House. For me it’s all about the journey and the love of making & listening to music. I’m still learning every day and I try to improve every single day more. For upcoming musicians I would say that patience is the key to everything and love for the music. If you love music, music will love you back. Don’t care about numbers, patience is rewarding.
  • Q5 – Which artist do you look up to and how have they inspired your music?
  • I would have to say Martin Garrix, I think he is one of the most talented producers out there. The way of combining Progressive House sounds with emotional elements is really creative and unique. I really get inspired by his songs of combining the emotional elements with different sounds!
  • Q6 – It must’ve been one hell of a ride releasing so many songs all these years! What more can we expect from Solven in the near future? I’m sure the fans are eager to know!
  • Well I have to say a lot of stuff are coming for next year, some uplifting yet emotional (as always), but for this year I will have 2 more songs. You can surely expect some summer type songs coming and some more chill melodic type.
