Nairolf-Get Out

Nairolf brings some cinematic indie rock excellence to his single, “Get Out”

Nairolf doesn’t want to mince textures when he’s making music. Central to the theme, he writes sharp melodies that float the point and setting across like a well-made film. This new track is of the same kind, doused in informed movements of art and culture. Creating a rousing soundtrack is another Sunday for this musician.  This one is called Get Out.

Opting for a minimalist canvas, Nairolf vouches for an electronic opening, with striking elements. The percussion gives the song the kick it needs, along with strings coming in like an orchestra. His voice is like a narrator’s, as though he knows the of the story. All we’re here for is a revelation that might be uncomfortable. The choice of melodies even in the verse and chorus is an energetic resolve that is inspiring, jarring and unique. Changes into distorted guitar in the song are syncopated, not exactly landing on time. It creates quite a jarring proposition, where the mind once again focuses on what is being sung. It is a textural masterpiece by Nairolf, someone with great vision and the means to execute it so well. When he transitions back into the chorus, you’re swept away back into the story, back to the protagonists state of mind.

Sludge has to be one of the most interesting albums I have heard this year. Not only does it use the minimal textures and boundaries to drive home the point, but everything is tailored like a scene. Nairolf keeps it interesting with his infused methods of melodic composition, perfect for the suave movements of the secret agent. Follow him for more music like this and check out his song above!

Self professed metalhead, moderately well read. If the music has soul, it's whole to me. The fact that my bio could have ended on a rhyme and doesn't should tell you a lot about my personality.
