An electric rock outfit fronted by a female vocalist, Beebee and The Bluebirds have been making waves in the industry lately — and on their latest single, “The World Of The Witch”, they bring absolute electric fervour and energy to the fore; keep reading for my thoughts!
From the word go, the guitars ring loud on this one — with the rhythm and the leads playing perfectly into one another as they lay down the perfect base for the vocals; and when the vocals do hit, the high-energy singing immediately captures the attention of the listener as ‘Beebee’ glides up and down registers with finesse and polish. The energy on “The World of The Witch” is also excellently managed, with its gentle swells and roars of energy. Come the solo, and the articulation does not cease to amaze me at all. Top work!

Some other standouts on the track include the dual guitar work, reminding one of a Zacky Vengeance/Synyster Gates of Avenged Sevenfold kind of affair; and I’m glad to report it’s been done quite nicely here. The rest of the ensemble makes light work of keeping up with the vocals — and the drumming is tight, precise and engaging. There’s also much to appreciate about the mix and the master, which capture the natural timbre of the vocals and the instruments quite nicely, while keeping things very well balanced as well.

All in all, “The World of the Witch”, by Beebee and the Bluebirds: an electric, absolutely infectious rock number that isn’t afraid to be loud and bold; and we dig it three times over. Take a listen to the track here!
