Bitchetarian adds on to the steamy drama with some thrilling music. A clever mix of words: a vegetarian, librarian by day, and an omnivorous bitchetarian when night falls. Remik starts to float the idea of naughty nutty he can get. Toss Your Salad and Balls O Meat continue similar lyricism, with a very frolic and danceable melody. Behind the cheeky titles and most buoyant grooves, Remik’s irresistible hooks make it impossible not to smile. Kreames and Fondue You goes a little subtle on the double entendre, and finally we enter the sweet baking list. The vibe is softer, more caring and intimate. Erikson reveals a gentler side here, wrapping listeners in comforting harmonies and warmth.
AllSpice is an out-and-out admiration of the alchemist in women. The song is a revelation and self-realisation of the many-layered conjugal relationship. Remik recognises how love is the magical spice of a healthy connection. Deviled Egg arrives with the line that’ll win a woman’s heart, “I will garnish you girl, like you deserve, like you never knew.” It’s a lyrical licorice candy that soothes and mashes the hard and makes it mushy.

Erikson’s album wraps up by listing 85 different pies for Pie Me Down. He closes this flirtatiously feast-y “A Baker’s Dirty Dozen” with a promise of commitment, saying, “Tie me down”. The humour gently gives way to gratitude, reflection, and satisfaction.
