An amazing single that has some really brilliant guitar work that sets the mood for the track. As you get into the groove, Joe’s vocals come in from all sides! This is different! I’m used to people mixing their vocals either left or right, but Joe has them on the left and right! This is an amazing effect for vocals, gives it more presence and intimacy. Even then, the other elements seem to be sitting perfectly without anything being masked. Amazing mix overall.

Downpour has some really nice lyrics that can resonate with most of his audience. Another case of an artist talking about the sadness and grief involved in a relationship that isn’t successful! But then, you feel like you can do anything for the other person. You can feel this emotion bleed through the vocals. This is a song that has a steady pace but gradually reaches a crescendo and this is executed beautifully by Joe!
The guitar work is absolutely amazing, especially the electric part that just pierces the mix and gives you goosebumps at the back your neck! Just listening to the song once, makes me feel like I know the lyrics and it forces me to sing along. What an odd effect from a track! Probably because Joe spends a lot of time understanding his audience and applies all that he learns into his music! I just love every part of this track, especially the electric guitar riffs that just ethereally penetrate the mix and just pour out of the speaker.
Overall an amazing track with beautiful vocals, steady drums, calm acoustic guitar strings and electrifying guitar riffs that just mixed together in absolute perfection to create this masterpiece! The electric guitar riff just changes the whole mood of the track. I cant get over how good it sounds!
