Bill Cantos’ Sensibility Is the Album That Brings Out the Perfect Blend of Jazz With Other Musical Genres

Certain music albums captivate the listeners right from the first song, and the latest album by Bill Cantos, Sensibility, is precisely a similar kind. Before we get to the album, let us know a little about the artist himself. Bill is widely regarded as one of the most prolific musical artists who happens to be a singer, songwriter, producer, and flawless live performer. He holds a degree of Masters in Jazz Studies from the New England Conservatory of Music, situated in Boston. He has worked with some of the most celebrated artists in the music industry, such as Bob Dylan, Elton John, Phil Collins, and numerous others.

An album that makes one listen to it on a loop!

Sensibility, Bill Cantos’ recent album, comprises a set of twelve songs and runs for approximately fifty minutes. The songs are a mixture of originals and covers of well-known legendary tracks re-harmonized with a lot of stylistic precision in their own way. Moreover, the featured musicians in this album are some of the known names in the music fraternity, and it is a surprise that listeners will cherish.

Let us take you through some of the notable songs in this album!

The title track of the album, Sensibility, features Bill in his similar role for all songs, that is, vocals and piano, with Grant Geissman on guitars, Kevin Axt on bass, and the final surprise, the one and only, legend of the legends, Vinnie Colaiuta on drums. The second song, This Can’t Be Love, is a noteworthy track in the album as it is a cover of a Rodgers and Hart number, and you must check it out for the amazing rendition with the addition of a lovely country-folk-tinged guitar solo by Grant.

Some of the other covers in the album include, I’m A Believer, the very famous Neil Diamond song with a Latin-style composition featuring guitarist Ramon Stagnaro, bassist Hussain Jiffry, with Michael Shapiro on drums and percussion, Bart Howard’s classic Fly Me To The Moon, where the trio of Bill, Kevin, and Grant also take the percussion duties along with their individual responsibilities by clapping, stomping, and tapping instruments which definitely makes it a unique rendition of this legendary jazz song!
