British Indie Pop Punk band, Bowfinger are back for more with their latest single, C’mon. Their debut album, Ten Pence On The Return, which they released a decade ago, saw some success. However, it’s always great to have new music! This four-piece group has seriously been working towards excellency. Having performed all over the UK and now out with a new single, it’s hard to not be excited. Their driving melodies and infectious rhythms will absolutely take over your body and move you to the groove.
C’mon seems to hit all the right notes with every bit of Bowfinger showing up. It’s powerful and heavy, infectious and upbeat with all the right Rock and Indie vibes. With some really interesting chordal tendencies and an atmosphere of electric fun, there’s so much to unpack here. I absolutely love the hard-hitting drums and the guitars that seem to occupy a space of their own. Moreover, the vocal work is simply sublime with the lead as well as the backup vocals. The Bass is phat and goes absolutely hard. There’s not much you can dislike, if there even is anything, about C’mon. Bowfinger is back with a bang.
I can’t think of many bands that can pull off a ten-year wait that lives up to the expectations. Bowfinger has certainly lived up to the hype and I look forward to the next one. However, for now, I’ll gladly take C’mon.
