Apeiron Bound, the progressive metal band from the Tampa Bay, Florida has been crafting a tight cerebral mix of prog and symphonic metal over the last few years.

Their latest single ‘Thought & Memory – Reverie‘ is a reimagined version of the second track off their mind-boggling album ‘Multiplicity‘. That album had a collab with one of my favourite guitarists Angel Vivaldi and it also included the likes of Frank Sacramone from Earthside, among others. The song has been re-recorded with a new line-up, and some fresh prog juice, we all have come to enjoy from this act. The band which has been active since 2018, mentions that the song “marks the end of the four-year Multiplicity cycle”.
According to a Facebook post, the band mentions this was “first time we truly had the freedom to reconstruct an older track and take its arrangement to places we couldn’t explore before”, with audio engineering work all done by vocalist John Galloway.
The song also features contributions from John Galloway on vocals, additional lyrics, synths, engineering, mixing and mastering, alongside Gabe Reese on vocals and Andrew Stout, who handles composition, guitar and synths. The instrumental lineup is rounded out by Cody Letts on guitars, session bassist Peter Albert de Reyna, and Kristopher Huffman on drums and percussion, with Michael Calza also credited for lyrics.
