From the production sliding you into the verse section to the funky lines dancing about in the background-it is a party. What I am grateful for is the release of this song, for it is now my dance floor call. The seemingly minimal background work allows for unparalleled focus on his lyrics, while still keeping the groove tight. This is masterful work from a musician who has contributed to many TV shows and YouTube videos. Maybe translating the image or writing for it now comes as second nature to the man whose dog owns him. Keep an ear out for those guitar flourishes, they are really the zing element you want to hear from a song like this.
